Coveham Masonic Lodge.
Consecrated 31st January 1921
Coveham Lodge was formed in 1921. The Lodge took its name from the Anglo-Saxon name for Cobham, Coveham.
Many of the local lodge members who formed the lodge were local shopkeepers in Cobham so it was decided that the lodge crest should incorporate the local historic landmark of Cobham Mill.
Although the Lodge meets at Glenmore House in Surbiton, it maintains its close links with Cobham where it still meets at the Guide Hall, Spencer Road which was the Parish rooms for its Lodge of Instruction.
Over the years the lodge has had many members from various backgrounds including shopkeepers, tradesmen, farmers and notably motor engineers.
In modern times, members also come from technology, finance and many other occupations.
The lodge can also boast as former members, one Knight of the Realm, one MP, and one Lord Mayor!

It cannot be denied that many enjoy being part of the local community and helping local charities.
