Charity and Local Support

Charity and support for the local community is close to the heart of Coveham Lodge

Charity and community support – A distinguishing characteristic of a Freemasons heart

Coveham Freemasons Lodge is a great supporter of Masonic and non-Masonic charities and community support.

In the early days (1920), support was more village-orientated around Cobham. At one meeting the princely sum of £2 1s. 0d from an attendance of 28 lodge members was raised. This may not sound like a great deal of money, but in today’s terms, it equates to £100 or around £4 per person.

Coveham Lodge has continued its tradition of support for many charities and community projects over the years.
